Gravatonic tech MIA? Retribution

Being playing the game and notice that the gravitonic tech don't seem to be there on any of my knowledgeable civs including the default (in both normal and opt-in 3.5 hotfix patch). PS validated files multiple times and nothing changed it still missing,

Could you guys help me find where these techs are or confirm that they really are MIA?

I just stared a game with the Thalans using the opt-in patch and the tech is there. You can use the search function to look for it.

If it's not appearing for you kindly open the debug.err file, located in \Documents\My Games\GC3 or \Documents\My Games\GC3Crusade, and check the first line what the version and build number you have.

Looks like it's missing in my build too. I can't remember all the techs in the Gravitronic branch, Rhonin, could you post a pic of this part of the tech tree please so I can double check that it's really missing from my build. Thanks

Kindly upload your debug.err file, so I can check the build number.

Thanks Rhonin, yea, the Gravitronics branch is definitely missing from my build as well. Also, how Do I use the spoiler tags please?

Here's my debug message:

Debug Message:  Version 3.5, Build #10716, last updated on: 02-27-2019 01:31

Hmm my GC3Crusade debug says: Version 3.5, Build #10716, last updated on: 02-22-2019 10:49

This is the case no matter if I have Hotfix patch 3.5 active or not.

After switching between 3.5 hotfix and normal version and validating files multiple times I got the gravitonic techs to appear with 3.5 hot fix op-in.

Note the debug still says: Debug Message:  Version 3.5, Build #10716, last updated on: 02-22-2019 10:49

Despite having to scroll through a debug log (please put these on a dropbox with a link if you want these threads responded to by the general public) I'd like to say that I see Gravitronics on my games as the Thalan.

Glad to hear it was fixed for you, Rockman.

The_Tourist, what I suggest you do is excluded your steamapps folder from any anti-virus/security programs that you have running and run Steam as an admin. Then validate integrity of files for GC3.

Yea I tried using the spoiler tag function to avoid exactly that but it's not working and I can't figure out why, that's why I asked for help with it. Hopefully Rhonin or someone at Stardock will help so that I can edit and compress that post.

Spoiler doesn't compress, it just hides the text. The easiest method would be upload the file somewhere else and post a link here.

Go to steamapps\common\Galactic Civilizations III\Tools and run EverythingButCampaignData.bat

If that doesn't work manually delete the folders data and DLC from steamapps\common\Galactic Civilizations III and then validate files.

If that fails as well follow the steps for the Purge here and reinstall. Make sure to backup and ship designs and civs you created that you don't want to lose.
