Running Turn Process in Parallel

Turn Ripping

On larger maps, with many different factions playing all at once, it can take over a minute for a turn to complete. I'm running a Threadripper 1950X and I was wondering if there is an option to run the turn process for each faction in parallel to each other. With 16 cores and 32 threads, there should be no reason why it shouldn't take 6 seconds or less for each turn to complete. The turn process absolutely kills the pace of the game. Moving around after 100 it takes longer to to do the next 10 turns as it did to get up to the first 100 turns.

Is there anything that can be done about this within the current game engine?

This is why I stopped playing, I feel there is something broken here, a loop that should not be happening or some such, It has only started happening for me after the 3.0 patch. I recently built a new computer, 2700x, and I still get the same slow down as I do on my other outdated rig, Athlon 8350, both with 32gb of RAM.

There are a lot of others with high end rigs complaining of the same over on the steam forum, although of late everyone has fallen quite, most likely due to no longer playing the game like myself. They all get the typical support answer, check our troubleshooting faq etc, when a member of SD replies that is.
