Google Pop Up Adds

Does anyone know how to stop the Google Pop Up adds.
I have them coming up on many sites including WinCustomize. I have been on the Google site and tried the opt out feature without any success.

Be careful with adblock plus, sometimes it is way too aggressive and blocks certain elements from different websites.

WinCustomize doesn't use pop-up ads, and ad-blockers on WC are known to cause issues with commenting and posting.

Never seen Popup ads from Wincustomize.com. You sure you do not have any malware issues?

Thank you,

Here is what I have done.

Removed adblocker.

Run full scan of security essentials. Took about 15 hours. Nothing found.

Installed Malwarebytes. Did scan! 15 program items found all to do with Tweakbit, whatever that is.
Quarantined them. Still have the problem

Any help appreciated

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

I found this on line.

What is TweakBit?
The Malwarebytes research team has determined that TweakBit Driver Updater is a driver updater. These so-called "driver updaters" try to convince users that their systems have problems. Then they try to sell you their software, claiming it will remove these problems.Nov 3, 2016

How do I get rid of TweakBit?
TweakBit Driver Updater Removal Procedures
  1. Step 1 : Scan the computer with Anti-Malware Tool to Automatically Remove TweakBit Driver Updater.
  2. Step 2 : Uninstall TweakBit Driver Updater from Windows Control Panel. ...
  3. Step 3 : Remove TweakBit Driver Updater Add-ons and Extensions from your Browser.

lastly Google TweakBit for more info.

I have never had the problem and not sure the fix.

I will forward to support to see if they can help with this Thread .

Thanks for the info.

Cannot find anything on my computer now that involves TweakBit.

Followed steps 1, 2, and 3 as you listed them.

Clicked the link to TweakBit but MalwareBytes blocked access.

Problem still there. Will wait and see if anything happens in the next few days
