Dragging animations not working well

Wobbly windows and taskbar twinkling

Hello!

I would like to know when when I choose dragging animation for windows (windowfx or compiz style) it will always make my regular win10 taskbar twinkle/flash at the same time.

Is it some kind of interference between two functions ?

Thanks!

j

Hello again,

Not on my system. The taskbar have no effect at all while dragging windows. Is your graphics card driver up to date? and would also interested to know what graphics card you have in your system.

If so there is some possibilities. That there is a problem on your graphics card setting. Are you running on a dual graphics adapter setting? Such as Intel HD or AMD internal graphics adapters with External graphics. And the External graphics card only kick in when you run high demand graphics apps such as games? It possible for your system not to react fast enough to switch from internal to external to take over when the WindowsFX need it. Try to switch the internal graphics to permanent off (in BIOS setting) and see if that help.

I'm seeing the taskbar flash as well, when moving an explorer window around. It is intermittent, and happens more with rapid movement.  If I rollup the window before moving it, no issues.

On my triple monitor system, it flashes the taskbar that the window is moved to.

BTW. Drivers up to date, 8 GB graphics card, brand new.

Hey Jim,  can you try something. Try to run on one monitor and see if that help.

OK, I'll temporarily disable 2 screens, but WinFX needs to be multi monitor compatible.

Disabled extra monitors, no difference.

Are any of you using 'Actual Multiple Monitors' or 'NVidia Surround'?  If so, and disable it, does it still happen?

Actual multiple monitors here. No NVidia involved. Radeon RX 580 8 GB DDR5.

Not in eyefinity mode.

3 X Samsung 32 inch curved screen monitors. (Not TVs)

Thanks.. for your respond. Looking at it.. I can say that your spec way better than mine.

I am running just i5 2500K, 16G RAM,  Dual monitor 1920x1200 on GTX 1050. and I have no problem at all.

And I can say that there is something at fault in your system. Do you have any other GUI enhancement product running in the background? Fences. Windowblinds. etc etc.

I am just saying that there is possibilities that The "Actual Multiple Monitors" is part of the conflicting problem. Can you disable it and see if that solve it?
