couple of bugs 2.6

A few things I noticed in the 2.6 opt in preview;

Technology capital consumes 1 or 2 arnor spice per turn once built. It's also listed as +1 arnor spice when you build as opposed to other buildings that say -1 to build. Right now its completely messed up and will eat all ur spice!

In the tech tree for beam weapons; lots of the specializations descriptions still say "increase beam damage" when the tooltip icon correctly states and increase in range. Also in the tech tree is a support module that "increases beam damage of the whole fleet" but actually only increases the damage of non-elerium beam components.

In the battle viewer, i will still (i think someone brought this up before) see my support ships way out in front but not interacting with the battle. It doesn't change anything, since they aren't supposed to do something, but looks dumb as hell.

The computer never seems to want to attack my privateers, so i can fly in and wreck all their starbases and peace out with 0 consequences. Do they not see them as pirates or something?

Surrendering AI will still sometimes bug out and have ships in orbit of planets they no longer control.

Thanks, that's all I remember for now!

The first bug has been fixed internally, will be in tomorrow's opt-in update!

The "support" ships are on the list to fix

I will be looking over and making changes to the weapon and upgrade system soon! This is a system that is severely imbalanced IMO.

update; so the comp does attack my privateer, but my privateer is usually a beast so they just don't wanna.

Great news about the spice and weapon updates, I look forward to 'em! Could you please also look at the ideology ones too?

A couple more bugs i remembered;

I will sometimes get the same colonization event for a component or building, but can only build 1 of them. Either I shouldn't get the same event or i should be able to build 2 of things.

Also about events; sometimes the descriptions don't match up with the bonus. For example; "your people will be wealthy" translates into a research bonus or something. Not game breaking but weird.

There is a research anomaly that says it gives you a research boost, but then no bonus is listed (unlike when it says you get credits, or 15% of the tech). I believe that it's still giving me raw research points, but I'm not sure.

Thanks!
