prototype survey module bugged badly

I just started a campaign in crusades and there's a huge, obvious bug on the very first mission.  The PrototypeSurveyModule_Name that allows the first buildable survey ship to survey costs 1 thulium... every turn.  I have 2 of these guys flying around and despite my income of 1 thulium per turn from starbases, I have -15 thulium.

Yeah, I just came back to post that this campaign doesn't seem to use crusade mechanics, so it is probably the base game that is bugged that way.

Either there's at least two bugs here or it's 'only' a display bug.  With the first ship consuming your entire Thulium supply, you should never have been able to build a second.

Happening to me as well, in sandbox mode. When you patch this, could you possibly compensate existing save games that are in the minus with at least a vaguely appropriate amount of Thulium? I'm 25 turns in, and I don't look forward to climbing up out of a -70 debt. :-/

While it doesn't relate to this report directly, I will note that I had a similar occurrence recently, where my Administrators suddenly jumped from zero to -3.  Yes, there a bug in there somewhere.

I too am experiencing this issue, it allows me to build ships containing the prototype survey module when I have no thulium and then it shows up as negative thulium in the resource bar. I'm running the base game with the 2.6 Opt-in Patch.
