Yeah, I heard that stuff too.
It would be great to know the sequence, and other stuff that might be included.
The improved graphics and wreckage will, I think, be part of the nitrous 1.5 upgrade (see June post). And I am pretty sure that the 1.5 upgrade is expected in roughly august timeframe (although I would assume Fall, because these things often take longer than expected).
The new Dreads and Juggernauts are likewise near term I think, along with the next segment of story. My guess on these would likewise be Fall.
As to Vulcan... I think I saw a survey about Vulkan support/signup the other day, so not sure where that stands... might still be in air, who knows.
I have also heard about the reclamation thing for a long time too... but obviously hasn't happened yet.
Another thing I have heard is that they are eventually going to enable custom key binding.
And of course the eventual introduction of Naval units.
Gen Gentleman also told me at some point that the UI would receive an overhaul.
It's all good stuff.
Things that I really HOPE to see happen over time:
- Meta Unit Formation and Behavior Controls (lots of folks have asked for this)
- Improved unit AI
Also, there are still buggy issues that stick out to me.
Like sometimes, when I am moving around, my controls seem to lock up.
The unit deselects, and I can't re-select it with a box.
I need to double click on a unit, and then things seem to unlock again.
It's wonky, and happens maybe once each game.
I'm just used to it at this point.
Haven't figured out the trigger.
