[bug] 1.9 - No zone of control

Some sort of bug that sets Zone of Control to zero or something. The game keeps failing file validation, so something is getting corrupted after the game boots up. Tried a clean reinstall after the first time I had to redo file validation and it did the same thing.

Zone of Control is your influence and that now starts at zero. You have to work on influence now.

If you validate and get one file, then there's nothing wrong with your installation (strange but true!)

Yes, the starting ZOC is zero

Sorry, must have missed it when I glanced over the patch notes. It's weird not having your own solar system in ZoC right off the bat.
