Where did the option for precursor worlds go?

Recently I started playing again after 1.8 came out. When I setup my game there was no option to set the frequency of precursor worlds anymore. There is one for excellent planets. Does that option include the precursor worlds?

I also have one other question. If I build a mining starbase next to say durantium, does the durantium go to the closest planet? I do not see a route go from the starbase to my planet. Even though the planet is 4 hexes away from the mining starbase. My asteroid mining operations and durantium mine near my homeworld connects in a network with a series of hashmarks on the map. So, I am curious why that does not work with my other planet. It is strange. Thanks for any help. Sorry if this is confusing, it is just hard to explain.

The Mined Ressources go to the minig Starbase, and are then globally available.

The Lines from the Starbase to your Shipyards show which Shipyards the Starbase gets its Constructors from.

An interesting note about precourser worlds...

Some have special abilities like:

  • Faster production at sponsored shipyards
  • longer range at sponsored shipyards
  • better sensors at sponsored shipyards

My question and perhaps someone can verify; What is the 'increase (if any) you get from sponsoring said world AND is distance a factor?

I have often found these gold mines and just added them to the sponsorship of the primary homeworld and it 'seems' they work (the bonus from the planet not the production added.)

You get a set number of Precursor worlds per map size. The scaling factor has been reduced to far(1%) it is always under the minimum(2-10) which results in the map defaulting to the minimum.

The increase is what it is, for example the Precursor Satellites is a default extra +2 sensor power, not range like it says they broke it when they changed to sensor power it should be +12, you can not increase it by other means. Distance is not a factor.
