Bug? Acquiring Energy negates Cold Fusion

Hi,

Something funny happened in my game. I own the Cold Fusion patent, so all my buildings were powered by water. I deployed some space pirates to intercept the shipments of my enemies, but I think they intercepted some power as well. So now, all of my buildings are consuming power instead of water (and obviously I have no infrastructure in place for energy and a bunch of surplus water). 

 

I suspect this was triggered by the pirates, as this was around the time when the power consumption switched, but I am not 100% sure.

Upon closer inspection I think that this was because the price of water exceeded the price of energy momentarily, but I think the game logic here should be improved, especially if you have a surplus of water, but no energy production whatsoever.

I suppose cold fusion / water engine could be made to consider the virtual price instead of the actual price. (The virtual price would be what the price would be at after the patent holder sells out of their fuel/water stockpiles).

Just to clarify, pirates (to my knowledge) cannot steal power.
