My issues with Ashes of the Singularity (Actionable List)
Coming from someone who has played 74 hours of Ashes of the Singularity, and a LOT of Planetary Annihilation and Supreme Commander Forged Alliance (Years ago)
My issues with Ashes of the Singularity
We need the Ctrl-Z functionality just as the same as Supreme Commander and Total Annihilation, Planetary Annihilation. (Select same unit)
It is hard to tell that a group of units are in an army or not.
Army's have some mysterious limit to the max number of units. How can we tell? Just fails to create army if I have too many units.
Power generators are very hard to select. I think that there should be some sort of like glowing orb that makes it really easy to click on them and its snaps to the spot.
Commands issued to multiple factories doesn't work as expected. A pain!
Trying to click on the spots for building resource extraction is a pain! (perhaps make a default auto build after capture of power generator...)
Buildings are difficult to place! Many times they don't queue up the first click.
No way to see how much the quantum upgrades to health and weapons, radar will actually do unless I commit. No percentage shown of rate increase or value. In fact I never seem to do them because I can't tell what exactly good it will do.
Need oceans and better maps. Would love to see nice maps like with the grand canyon style crevice and plateaus.
(I love the way that Planetary Annihilation, and Spring RTS handled most area commands and click drag to build buildings. I hate unnecessary mundane clicking)
Hot key for repeat build.
Features that I want:
- Import units/factions from Forged Alliance Mod if it is installed
- Mode to play without power generators.
- Higher limit to the number of players in multiplayer.
- Unit Transport ferry system Forged Alliance style.
- Frame Rate Display in game.
- Replays like Planetary Annihilation
- Live spectating games like Planetary Annihilation
- Optional units
Thanks for the time to read this and I appreciate your nice way of working with the community.
