N/A Projects Bug

My last two threads on this have mysteriously disappeared, not sure why. But in Galciv3 I've noticed a build queue bug which only occurs after I've researched and upgraded into the Colony Mayor upgrade. After I've done that I can no longer cancel any of the N/A projects, like Economic Stimulus, or Birthing subsidies.

 

I can easily swithch to one of the other build projects, but not cancel any of them. It does not prevent me from building other items, however, I will no longer get notified when a colony is idle as the planet simply resumes the N/A project again.

 

Anyone else getting this?

Only the few hundred people playing my mod, since vanilla doesn't HAVE colony hub upgrades :)

 

I suspect it's something only SD can fix, but since it's not actually part of the base game I wouldn't hold my breath on it happening any time soon; the dev team have rather more pressing concerns than code fixes to make one specific mod work better. I'm considering removing them and just reverting to the base game system, where you get a flat empire-wide production bonus from the techs. But since it doesn't cause masses of harm (once the building is built it usually starts working properly again) and has good balance implications, I'm not sure whether it's worth it.

Yup. Basically, if you mod in upgrades to the colony capital, then you get all sorts of funny behaviour. Might be something for SD to be aware of in case you plan to add upgraded colony hubs later, or if the idea proves generally mod popular... but not a change 99% of the user Base would see any benefit from at all presently.

My bad, I have only played the game with naselus' mod, and was under the impression that the bug existed in the base game as well. My bad, mods can delete this if they want :D
