Username problem

I was browsing the Gal Civ 3 website and clicked on "Metaverse", because I was curious what that was. 

 

I see it's a ranking system and our games are automatically recorded and ranked there. I typed in the name I use in game "Lexx" and I see someone else is also using the same name. When I do a search for my scores, it comes up blank. I can find data for the other Lexx, but no scores for myself. My name is listed first, so I assume I registered it first, but my scores don't seem to be recorded. I can't figure out how to search the user database to see who used the name first, since you can't search usernames without something in the search field above them.

 

Most games don't let 2 players use the same name. I can see that this might be causing issues. I don't use console commands or any mods, so I don't see why my scores wouldn't show up in the Metaverse. 

 

Can anyone tell me how to see my scores? I would at least like to know how to search the username database, since I can't seem to figure it out.

There are 3 ways to find yourself in the Metaverse:

  1. The easiest way to find yourself is to click the GalCiv3 menu button "Hall of Fame" in-game. This will take you to your Metaverse profile on the GalCiv3.com webpage. Make sure your GalCiv3 game is up to date!
  2. Alternatively you can click on the "Login" button at the top right of the Metaverse page. You will be prompted to login to Steam. Then hover over the "Welcome" button and click "My Profile" to view your GalCiv3 profile page.
  3. One area of potential confusion... the GalCiv3 Metaverse uses your Steam profile name, which can differ from the username you use to log into Steam and your Stardock.com account. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner of the Steam homepage to view your profile page. This shows your profile name at the top. Once you have your profile name you can enter that in the search box at the top of the GalCiv3 Metaverse to find your profile.

The Stardock Games team is working to enable linking your Stardock.com / forum account to your Steam account. This will make the process easier in the future as well.
