Command Console not opening?

I building a sweet range of ships and use the command console to open up all the techs. Since the patch today I cant get it to open. Is it only me or does someone else have this issue? I checked the input and it was still there as a command, but however much I press the button the Command Console doesnt open.

Thanks a lot. Now I can continue with my work. The next question will probably be how to bring the blueprints over to steam ;)

Via the in game Ship Designer, you will see "Steam WorkShop" (used to download) and "Upload to Steam" options in the bottom left.

Thanks a lot. Now I managed to upload my first ship (an Altarian Carrier) but how do I tag it so people will find it easily?

I'm not sure if there are tags for that.  From the filtering options, when looking for ships, you can only filter on hull size. T hen, there is the steam generic workshop sortings of things like "most recent, most popular, etc".

Having never designed a ship and uploaded it, I'm not aware of any tag in the ship design to make it "dedicated" for a specific race/faction.  If there is a way to do that, then yeah, faction based ship filters would be good.   In general though, I think these ships will be for your use, not the AIs....but I can easily be wrong as I'm taking an uneducated guess.  I havent really downloaded or used any SW ships.  Filters for things like "carriers" might be a bit too abstract.  If you have that, you would need energy, kinetic, missile, mixed as well...

f you use steam, goto library and right click on the Galciv3 game, and you will see properties.  After that, in the default General Tab, click on the launch options button.  Here, type in "cheat" and this will be added to the process launch of galciv3.

For those that dont have steam, you will need to create a shortcut item of the Galciv3.exe, and then right click on it and go to properties.  Notice the TARGET LINK, which has the direct path and name of the Galciv3.exe application.  Here, append " cheat" to the line, thus adding this option during the process launch of galciv3.exe.
