UI Improvements

Yo!

(Again, sorry if this is already posted somewhere)

I thought I'd start a post for UI improvements that would improve the experience:

  1. Rotating Colonies:  When placing your first colony, let us rotate the building so we can squeeze those oblong colony types between rocks.
  2. Ask 'Are you sure?' for major decisions.  i.e. Placing colonies
  3. If you're not going to implement 'fog of war' mechanic, hovering over your opponent's stock price could have a better list of data.  Who cares what their asset value is?  Just show us their current cash & debt balance with a list of buildings they have active.

Anyone else want to add to the list?

Thanks!
Neizzle

Hi Neizzle,

Thanks for your feedback!

2 - I agree that we want an "are you sure?" about major decisions, but I want to keep the flow of the game smooth and people in the real-time action of the game. Every time you pause the game or stop it with a dialog, you're pulling people out of the game. I understand that players sometimes mis-click when founding their colonies, but I'd rather us have a smooth feel to the game than every time you found it says "are you sure?" that you have to confirm.

3. One of the things on our long-term task list is better meta-data about your buildings and assets and your opponents. This isn't coming soon, but it will happen.

Thanks for your feedback!
