As this game matures, there are some regular players who are becoming very good at this game. I'd say I'm about mid skill level and I'm getting utterly crushed by the pros while I can utterly crush a newbie.
I'm worried that this will scare away many new players who are repeatedly destroyed in multiplayer games.
I know it would be a lot of work, but I feel some sort of ranking system is required for multiplayer to function properly.
Another random addition in line with this is the ability to see games in progress. Doing this would make the server lobby seem less dead and a player just logging in will know that once a game ends, there will be some more people to play with.
Over all, I'm having great fun with this game and I hope it continues to grow it's fan base!
