The first Galactic Civilizations III Ship Designer contest has concluded, with the community voting user Tezmagorian's Terran battleship the victor.

Congratulations, Tezmagorian!

All eight of our finalists will have their ships included in the retail version of Galactic Civilizations III. Congratulations JohnRawghi, The Sisko, Archcreature, MRKiscaden, Overpixel, and Thecw -- everyone who plays Galactic Civilizations III will see your work sooner or later, and you'll get a special thanks in the game's credits for your awesome designs.

Thanks to everyone who submitted designs to the contest. Lead designer Paul Boyer, who is legendarily picky about ship designs, judged over 80 of the submissions good enough to make it into the game, but ultimately we had to cut it off somewhere. You all rock.

Well I am guessing that the plethora of pointy things on it will shoot out bullets and flame-like stuff and death rays, so I  would say

it is not meant for "blending" but rather "utter destruction".   I suppose even if it had a sign saying "Blends well with all races, we come in friendship" I,

for one, would NOT believe it.

Omnibus also excels at Klingon and Romulan Star Trek Ship designs. I'd love to see how my Federation Star Fleet ships would fare against his Klingon and Romulan ships.
