Custom ground units.

Ok. We all now that the combat viewer for ground battles wasn't the best. Everyone had the same vehicles, turrets, and troops and nothing changed with tech except for a number. I think it may be a good idea to add at least some customization to ground unit. Maybe a basic ship designer styled thing. Nothing fancy just a couple of parts.

Yes. I once thought storing units on planets like fleets would be cool. As ground combat was so neglected in galciv2.

If the system is similar to GC2 there is no point in designing your own ground vehicles.  Nor is there any real point if all you change is the visuals of ground vehicles.  A ground unit designer has to have a meaningful impact in the combat.

I'd hope that they'd at least work more on the ground vehicles. I mean, the tanks were some of the ugliest thing.

They said they were re-doing the sytem. So maybe it will require some tactics and design. :)
