Game does not display "Forbidden Worlds" under version number even though I own the DLC

Hi,

Not sure if this is a bug or not, but when I bought the DLC off of Steam a while ago, I didn't see "Forbidden Worlds" underneath the version number in the main menu. Yet some people have that string displayed under their version number.

Ironically, I can play on maps with DLC planets, make maps with said planets, among other things. Other than what the title says, I have no other problems with the game (which is the latest version).

 

 

I don't know if this post should go here or in the Technical section..... :maybe:

The "Forbidden Worlds" text was added in the 1.52 hotfix a bit after the DLC's release, so if you've only played it before then you wouldn't see it.  ;)

What if I'm using a mod, such as "Sins Dark Reavers?"

The "Forbidden Worlds" string never appears when I'm playing a mod. I will try playing without mods and see what happens.

EDIT: Nope, I don't see the above string even if I play without mods. I was going to upload an image, but I don't know how to. It says I need to have an image URL.

Take the screenshot in Steam with F12, then when you quit the game it will give you the option to put it on your steam cloud, which will give you a URL you can use.

You do see where it shows the version number though right? What does it say?

I took the screenshot, and I just found out something: If I enable Steam Community ingame, it displays the Forbidden Worlds string, but if I disable it, the DLC string doesn't show.

Proof

Version number says "Rebellion 1.52.4792" before enabling Steam Community.

Just FYI, you need to right click on the picture and click "Copy Image URL" (in Chrome) to get it to show in the forums. Just the URL of a webpage that shows the image doesn't work.

Well it seems to be working for you now, even if its a little weird.
