Clothes

What's the deal with all the clothes options (robes, shirts, pants, gloves, etc) when creating a sovereign or designing a new unit? They don't have any benefits whatsoever and their cost (0) reflects this. You can't even use them for a custom look since they take up the slot of real armor or a beneficial robe.

I never use them and I guess nobody else does either. So what's the point of having them in the game? Are there plans for them in the future?

Although they serve no functional purpose. It does create unique looks amongst your units. I use the clothes to address units that I want to have no armor, to reduce training times and general upkeep costs of the unit. An archer doesn't really need leather armor, nor do mages. These clothes can be modded to have a benefit to using only clothing, say a +1 to initiative or even +1 dodge.

Something that one can put into the game, and I do like the clothes look as I create and design units with clothing, even when the armor is replacing the clothing.

I totally want customizable armor for my heroes.  Just look and feel.

If the AI has archers targeting your no armor units I beg to differ ;)

My archers normally wear leather armor for this reason  :)

Regular trained units need something to wear when they're not wearing every single armor piece. =)

How about some wizard hats?  :dur:

I would love there to be a nice witch hat.  Someone needs to mod anime models into the game. :D
