Hey all,
I must admit I really don't know much about the Elemental Lore. Is there a novel that is available? Or a good website that anyone knows of that can kind of explain things? I love the game, just sometimes when people talk about how things came to be I have no idea what they are talking about lol!

Actually, there IS a novel, Destiny Embers is literally a book made by Brad, Stardock's ceo.
This however is not the backstory as much as it is another tale set in the same world. It takes place in the year 1000 after the cataclysm, so the War of Magic and all of our sovereigns are just legends by then.
An actual backstory... There IS, the Hiergamenon is somewhere online, but I fail to recall where, it told the story of the Hosten and the other old famous people, the Cataclysm, and whatnot.
I will see if I can find that online lore book, but do consider checking Destiny Embers, while it is not lore centric, it is still a great story and does delve into some lore, and bits of it are not even mentioned in game.

And I still don't know how to pronounce that. Is it HAIR-game-e-non??? haha
Think I've heard Brad pronounce it with the syllable you have as "game" closer to "gem", but otherwise very close!
I pronounce it as if it was some Egyptian Pharaoh.

With the 'er' sounding like when you feel confused (Errh...) and the 'gamenon' as Agamemnon (to be fair, in spanish his name is lacking the extra M before the N)
