Forbidden Worlds MP - Friend Doesn't Own It

My friend doesn't currently have Sins installed so we can't test anything; is it possible for him to play with me if he doesn't own Forbidden Worlds, but I do?

I asked him to download and play with me, but I don't want to have him download the game only to not be able to.

Apparently, not personally tested, if the host has the DLC, others can connect and use the content.

Yes, this is the coolest thing they did with the DLC. 

Only the host of the MP game needs to have the DLC key.
