I settled a town and it was destroyed by bears. now the land there looks like a desert. all the nearby food is gone from the map. how do i fix this?
It is actually just city tile. The game doesn't revert the tiles back to their former tile markers, and so it effectively a salted earth effect. To rectify the problem currently there is a spell (relatively high level) or build an outpost nearby to transform those tiles back to be usable... these are the two effects at present that appear to work.
Yes, the spell is called birth of summer for kingdom, i forgot the empire's equivalent. Or build an outpost near the wasteland tile to restore its tile yield. It's safer to just use the spell.
