So what happens if you assign an AI the same team # as you ?  You're on the same team... wooohoo.      Does that actually mean anything like other games ?   

 

No....

 

No shared map revealing..  no shared techs..  no shared resources..    I would like to have this changed so that teaming up with an AI or two can have fun challenges.

Like a true kingdom vs empires map.

Yeah that would be neat.

Then maybe the shared vision can be a researchable tech and shared research, too. Maybe the possibility to move troops between allies and the automatic status "Allies" for the whole game.

I've never actually played with teams, but I assumed that it was the equivalent of entering a persistent Alliance Treaty with them. Does it really give no additional benefits apart from that?
