All factions are in a brownish red color - wtf ?

Hi all,

 

 

could someone tell me how to prevent that all factions (inc. Pirates and Rebels) stop appearing in a brownish red colors when playing vs PC ?

in the starting new map screen, they clearly show themselves  with different colors, but once in the game it's all unrecognizable ... whether on the strategic map or upclose in the tactical screen

Not to sure what you mean except for the environment cube lighting. If the EC or skybox is brownish red, all the ships will have that sort of reflection. You can try in the options to change deep space skybox or plane skybox.

Sounds like you have team colors on in the options.

thx guys

 

on the strategic view, the box on the right side of planets show colors as they should be (grey for rebels, faction's color insignia ...), but the ships colors are all brownish red, both on strategic and tactical views ... whatever the faction.

The problem came from the Video options.

The Team coloring was selected and threw everything out of whack
