[3 Bugs] Portrait, UI, and Speed...

Portrait - Well, as I made my own faction/hero (and in the game) the portrait of my hero is simply completely blacked out. Couldn't even see what portrait I chose for him while making him.

Speed - For some reason, after several turns, the game comes down to a crawl. It becomes unplayable and I have to exit and re-start it. Been happening on a regular basis to me.

UI - Well, this may be part of the slowness, but I'm not 100% sure. The top left menu and my armies/cities simply disappear. I have to exit and restart the game again like in the above speed issue.

 

I really, really like FE and LH seems like it's adding a lot to it especially the undead. I've been trying not to expand too much, but one of the computer players have 5 cities and a score about 62 points more then me. Not sure how they got all those cities, as I only have 2 so far and an outpost. They also seem to have a decent sized army too. Oh, and I'm playing on the most easy setting I could find. Getting off topic here though, sorry.

Anyways... Hope that these issues can be resolved fairly easily. Thanks for your time and support in advance.

Portrait.  Well have you tried putting your graphics into games gfx folder if the mods/gfx didn't work ?  

 

Not sure how to answer other two.

Hi. Maybe I didn't explain myself well enough, but I didn't make a mod or create my own graphics or anything like that. I just used the faction creator tool and the create your own character tool that comes with the game itself.

Oh, and as far as the portraits go, they're all blacked out. So, I can't see what any of the other NPCs look like.
