Windows 8 x64 Professional

I have installed WidnowsFX 5.1 on a laptop that is running Windows 8 x64. I have attempted to set the animations and it appears to save in WindowFX but the animations do not occur - for example opening and closing of a window.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have Windows 8 x64 Pro, and have not encountered this problem.

Have you attempted uninstalling the program, and reinstalling it?
Do you have a serial key or are you using a trial version?

Double check to make sure they are active!
