most fun I have had since new map pack

love me some spider armies

I am not a power player so this is really not anything revolutionary BUT just wanted the devs to know I have had the most fun with FE since I purchased the map pack.  The huge map is awesome.  Still playing my first game on the huge map but must say (yes this is a simple pleasure) I am having great fun taming spiders and creating my own mighty spider army.  This is nothing new with this map BUT I am living long enough to atleast get the chance now. :)

Thanks!  Let us know what you'd like to see next!

I'm personally lobbying for a "Lore Pack" which would introduce some new quests, equipment, goodie huts and items to the world.

I would like a Lore pack as well as a monster pack.  Love the current monsters but always have room for more.

Lore pack would be great.  Just about anything that adds content, complexity, replayability, and depth is good for me.  Just try and ensure balance!

I would love more items like weapons, armors, accessories, etc.  More spells, monsters, more traits for sovereigns, heroes, and factions.

That sounds great!

Is there any chance it could include some attention for the "Life" side of the magical pentaplex? There are plenty of death worshipping, spider recruiting, slave sacrificing sort of faction traits, but the good side doesn't have anything at all, and the Life spells are pretty weak and vanilla as well.

Perhaps it could be the first of a series of themed "Lore Packs" starting with a holy war sort of one?

If you are aiming at the purchaseable dlc, it would be better from my perspective if you were trying to make the more difficult parts of the game to mod in, like new items are hard to find skins for, new monsters are also hard to find skins for, etc.

Making a pack full of premade maps kind of to me seems a rather bland dlc, and any sillyhead with enough time to bother with the buggy map editor could publish a similar but free mod.

That said, I am happy people enjoy the premade maps ^_^

Yeah. Case in point: Binding trait generates troops when building a shrine on any shard color except life :)

More content including monsters, magic items, and quest that can be used in sandbox mode, not just with a specific map.

Also, is it me, or are there almost no cold-based monsters? Tons of fire-based ones... When my sovereign gained a level during one game, I had the option to choose 50% cold resistance. I passed it up, because I can't remember the last time I encoutered an ice elemental or any thing else with cold based abilities.

I'm hoping for a Boat/seacreature patch with full fledge sea tactical combat abilities.

If we are going to add sea functionality, how about flying battles (e.g. magic carpets, flying dragons, etc.)

At least with a magic carpet,, there wouldn't be any negative terrain movement modifiers.

5*  Lore Pack!

I like Frogboy's idea of a lore pack as well.   Would like to see more multi-stage epic quests come into play like the Dragon statue one.   Alternate master quests would be cool too.  I generally complete these quests each play through but it would be nice to get some more variety in quests of this scope as well as more variety at each level.   New items are always cool too.  Can you tell I enjoy the RPG elements of the game?  :)

I wouldn't mind seeing a pack that adds lots of new equipment. New weapons and armour for troops and heroes.

The lore pack sounds good though.

Can I suggest that prior to adding new weapons, a bit of a clean-up of existing weapons takes places? Currently rarity / cost and effectiveness aren't well matched in a lot of cases. I'm afg and can't find a reference, but there are many times that a more expensive item is completely inferior to a cheaper one.

The biggest example is how powerful the lightning hammer is compared to other bashing weapons when used by your sovereign or another high level champion. It is completely superior to pretty much any magical mace I pick up along the way, except perhaps for a couple of the really top ends ones you might get for finishing a wildlands. Even then.. i recently played the Wildlands map on expert and used the lihgtning hammer throughout, picked up a bunch of more expensive bashing weapons that weren't remotely as good.

This should be a pretty easy clean-up I'd think. I don't suppose there is a listing of all the weapons and their traits anywhere?

This was the first thing that came to mind for me. Even if its much further down the line or part of a sequel.

A flying trait for creatures/units would also be amazing.

A Lore Pack is something I'd want more than a Map Pack.

One thing I would like to see in regards to weopons (in addition to what you mentioned) is greater randomness. I'm tired of getting the same weapons over and over again (during a single game). It's not uncommon for me to have three of a kind (or more) of several different types (and magic items too.
