Trinity x Rebellion speed

Is there any difference?

I own Trinity and my netbook can run it fine in medium maps with 3-4 AIs including the endgame (medium graphic settings)...

I´m thinking on buying Rebellion but i am afraid that it would not run on my machine (i do not want to change my hardware for at least another couple of years)

So, there is any huge difference on running speed and/or hardware between Trinity and Rebellion - is Rebellion much heavier than Trinity?

Thanks

It would probably helpful to have your hardware specs....

It should run... Win XP is not an issue.

Rebellion has fancier graphics.... that might be a bottleneck on higher settings.

My main gmaing system:

AMD E-350 (Dual core 1.6 ghz)

6gb RAM

ATI Radeon HD 6310 graphics

HD 320 GB (5400 RPM)

Windows 7 64 Professional

Currently, as i said before, i can run Trinity on medium maps with 3-4 AIs and medium graphics without any slowdown problems even in late game... if i can run Rebellion on the same map sizes and maybe low graphics it would be enough for me to buy it... otherwise i will leave it for now...

I have a netbook as well; it runs Rebellion just as well as Entrenchment.

Should run fine, Makinus.

I noticed Rebellion actually runs much smoother on my older laptop than Trinity did with the same settings enabled. So if you can run Trinity you should be just fine, like Yarlen said.

If you disable the shadows alone you should get the same, or even better performance than Trinity on max settings. Rebellion was optimized even more than the latest Diplomacy update was. Basically no shadows makes the game look exactly like trinity in every way.
