Submission Problem

I clicked to submit my first game and it went to the main menu without any kind of indication that the score was submitted. I went to Metaverse put in my "nickname" and it says no game is found.
I had saved the game just before the win, but each time I load that save it takes me back to various turns before the end. Once it took me to the last turn, I got the victory and score again and tried to submit - no luck.
Now the saved game is many turns before the last one.

What gives?

Me too; exact same thing with my first game. And I am registered. Can anyone tell us what we are doing wrong please.

Oh yeah, I disabled my firewall and protection software before I submitted. If the submission is successful should I get a message telling me this?

I disabled my firewall too.
I have seen some posts about saving over previous games, but it is funny that each time I load the save it gives me a different turn.

You will get such a message if you have version 1.5 installed.

But I really don´t know why your games are not submitted - quite strange. Anybody?

I'm not too good at troubleshooting Metaverse submissions but I'll give it a shot.

Dralmar, have you registered on the Metaverse? I don't see the additional Metaverse details in the profile (your name hyperlink) when I click on it (look at Bob Harris' profile to see difference). If not, the link is here http://www.galciv.com/playerreg.asp

Bob Harris, when the game submission screen came up after you won, did you key in your player name Harrybanana instead of Bob Harris? The Metaverse wants your player name instead of your nick.

Ray Chua, actually the submission screen asks you for your "alias" not your "player name" (which I think may br confusing) but yes I did key in Harrybanana. I note below this though, that just to the left of my EMail address, you have to key in your name; does this have to be your player name as well?

Yes, they should really change the alias to player name to avoid confusion.

I've just checked and there are only the game details to the left of the email address. Not sure what additional name you are referring to. There are only two fields I can see - alias and email.

BTW, did you get a submission successful message?

I did register (I have an id in the profile).

Anyway I just downloaded 1.05 and have other problems. I like the game alot but why should there be so many bugs?

Hmm, I think you should be also getting a player id, see Bob Harris http://www.galciv.com/info.asp?accountID=665782.

What are your other problems with 1.05? Most of us found it very stable.
