Any plans for text changes on the cloth map?

As it stands having larger city names just causes problems like overlapping with nearby city names. Also I think it would be cool f larger cities had their names displayed larger on the map.

There isnt any plans to have the font size based on any dynamic fator.  I did tweak the font size, color and transparency for Beta 5 (they are smaller).

How about adding carriage returns/newlines to spaces for city names with 2 (or more) words in them?

So Keeran's Hold would be

Keeran's

Hold

?

Here's a thread with with a few more CM ideas.

It would be nice if they could be added in the expansion, since FE is, I assume, in feature lockdown.

I'm not a game designer....but there is a question about the CM....

CM is great, with a few more features it would become superb, I would consider CM a major feature of FE...

The funny thing is, it is completely optional, probably there are players that never used(or are aware it exists) CM...

My question is:

What is the point of having a mayor game feature that will not be used/seen by all players?

Making CM more integral with the main game would be really nice.

For example, you receive a quest, click map button on the dialog instead ok, you are  shown a CM screen with the quest marked by a little flag and you can see all your active quests marked by little flags....

Bottom line is:

FE can get pretty complex with a lot of clutter in the world.

Ability to focus quickly on things that matter most in a given moment would greatly eliminate "navigational" fatigue.

Having a more integral CM would be a nice way to accomplish this, imo.

People with slow computers can play strictly with cloth map alone allowing for better performance in the game. Especially so in late game when there is a lot of things updated visually.

My hopeful wish is in an expansion that they add player produced markers (little flags) that the player can place in-game a small tool-tip for themselves. Would help with saves knowing, what was I doing again... or here is fertile land that I would like to use later. Here is a big Big dragon, avoid this area, type thing.

How about making it so the titles on the cloth map could be movable? So I could drag a city's name somewhere else if it's in the way.

Eh not to be picky but not liking the names in Beta 5, They're a bit too small and now are right on top of the city making it hard to see them. \

It'd be sweet to have the ability to toggle these on/off as well as adjust their size/placement.
