I'm confused as to how it is possible to beat your opponent on every issue (on Painful mode) but still lose miserably in the electoral college. If the issues page is not linked to state by state issues and polling, then the issue page is pointless.

I only cut my characters name out of this, but I was down 45-52-3 and I ended up losing 53.4 to 46.6 --but the American people thought I was the better call on 94% of the issues that they cared about.

 

Edit: Didn't edit out my name entirely, oh well.

i reckon you won the popular vote and lost the big electoral votes big powerful states maybe like cali, florida, texas etc possibly , albeit i havent found any mention of popular vote in game yet lol

 

curiously your game shows

 

political capital spent 

pr clout spent 

 

and actually shows your numbers! - my last few games they have been blank! i dont know why,

but ive only played 21 week game though..

possible bugs ive encountered on most recent patch version,

 

my candidate and running mate randomly lose all stamina even though i have not used them on new turns , espec around week 18-21,

 

also endorsements-

 

i have won many but then they just undo themselves and i have to re-win them???  8(|

The problem isn't PR clout or the popular, the problem is that I won ALL the issues that people cared about in exit polling and still lost.

100% awareness in all states, I had television ads galore.

 

Even if it was awareness, I should be losing issue by issue then obviously.
