Electoral Tie

So I was going through the "Strategic Map" and figured out a few ways an electoral tie (269-269) is possible, I tried to set it up so the computer would get 269 and so would I and that's hard enough so I gotta ask, any of you Stardock people who read this (or anyone whom this has happened to) what happens in the game-end screen in the event of an electoral tie?

Well I don't know what they do either in the game or in real life, but I would have to imagine in the case of an electoral tie it goes to whoever won the popular vote. I could be wrong though.

In real life, congress would take over the process in choosing the new president.  I have no idea what happens in game.

dont know what happens in the game. Will have to try and see what it will take to make it work out that way.

If there was a tie in real life than the House would vote and Mitt Romney would win. Because Republicans control the house.

I managed to have an electoral tie in political machine 2008, and nothing happened. It winner just defaulted to the person who had the highest popular vote. Since the 2012 is the same thing as the 2008 edition except with less features, I am sure that nothing will happen in this edition either.

^Makes sense, seeing there is no big secret House feature it would make sense that the winner of the tie is the popular vote winner...thanks for telling me, my question is now happily answered...ok, so now try tying the electoral AND popular vote and tell me what happens...kidding but yea, ha...
