Founding a City

from Elemental Forums

I know that when you found a city you get the tile amount as resources, but as your city expands and you take up other tiles do you get those bonuses as well like in Civ, or is it just the initial tile only.  Ive been wondering about this for awhile and finally I broke down and wanted to ask, even though im prolly a noob for doing so.  I was hoping in Brad's new video that he posted on the other site, that he would mention this since they added essence, but he didnt darn it!  Oh well LOL be gentle kind readers!!

Only the tile that you found the city on matters for those tile yield numbers.

the tile values are a summary of the eight surrounding tiles and the tile to the tile, so the only tile you worry about IS the tile you settle on.

Thanks everyone for answering.  Appreciate it, been wondering about that for awhile!  Kongdej..just always a bit worried posting question on forums because on some others(which I wont name) you can get trolled...alot.

Yeah, Stardock forums are pretty friendly generally.  If you have any more questions about FE beta, feel free to ask. :)

(Btw: as far as we know, FE Beta 4 is coming out around 16 August, but that is only an estimate.)
