Envoys Torpedo launcing vehicles and other vehicles dont auto fleet

I play with TEC but its really annoyng when one of my torpedo launchers doesnt auto join the rest of the fleet.
I was hoping this could be fixed.
P.S. Not sure if this is my cause or someone else or everyone with my same ideal but thanks to Ironclad for implementing my larger debris ideal 
This is by design. Non front-line units like torpedo cruisers, scouts, and planet bombers will not auto fleet.
My simple solution: Alt-click torpedo cruiser -> create new fleet. Hold alt shift if making a mixed group. I usually have my main combat fleet and then a separate "Support" fleet with torpedo cruisers / planet bombers to do the clean up.
I see so your scouts, torpedos, etc aren't following your titan around like a frigate.
Exactly. It would be nice if torp cruisers and the like would auto fleet with ships of their own type though.
I believe changing one variable in the entity files of each ship that doesn't have auto-join fleets enabled should fix it. That is, if you are willing to mod some files...
proper solution is to stop using fleets and start using hotkeys. 12345.
fleets get you in all sorts of problems, and mess up everything. great way to get your stuff killed.
you know its not good to use fleets, because the AI uses fleets.
