Needless to say, I think the Vasari Rebels need to rework their strategy.
I was under the impression that the screenshot was a little bigger, so for the sake of everyone's eyes I'll just point out the 80 navigators.
The AI seems to do this sort of thing sometimes when the enemy is using a lot of mine fields. Yet because of the now passive mine detection it is pretty much useless to have more than 10 scouts in any fleet.
Yeah, I was playing a 4 on one comp stomp checking out the VR titan and the advent AI did something like that. I actually had a moment of hesitation thinking it was going to suicide the whole mess in some space version of a kamakazi strat using that blow up ability. But ended up just getting stuck in that back and forth phase jump thing they do sometimes.
Don't diss the scout storm, cheap and quick. I do it if I'm bored enough
