(BUG) Pirate's Bane Achievement does not work

I left my game on all night, I am now on hour 20 of the SAME GAME and i've set my systems up to basically farm the pirates regularly. I have likely killed well over 1,000 pirates.

 

No achievement garnered. I've let them die to structures only, then to just a starbase, then to just capitals and subcaps... nothing.

 

*edit* i can confirm i've killed over 3,000 pirates via the statistics page.

 

I'd test this in dev mode, spawning 1000 pirates myself but i am unsure if achievements even count/work in dev mode.

I can verify this. In another post I had made a list of 'Achievements I currently Hate' that noted I killed well over 5000 pirate ships in a game. I had some hesitation, however, as some achievements were now working when before they hadn't [like the lender achievements for me], as well as I had used the Maw to kill many pirate ships, which may have somehow counted against me.

However now that someone else had the issue as well, Pirate's Bane Achievement is not working properly.

Pirate Exterminator hasn't proc'd for me either. Not really bothered since none of the achievements do anything :p
