TEC Loyalist

Hi all, I've been playing some games recently as the TEC loyalists, trying to see how much two starbases and a titan can stand up to. One thing I've noticed is that the Vasari Kostura cannon  completely hamstrings the ability of the TEC loyalists to successfully hold off a large assault. I know this is one of the best things about the Kostura cannon, but I think it completely undermines the strategy of TEC loyalists. My suggestion is this: add research to the end of the TEC Loyalist Defence tree that gives tactical structures a resistance to disabling effects. This would be something that (maybe) halves the time structures are affected by disabling effects. It would obviously be much too OP to completely negate such effects but halving the time structures are effected or allowing them to resist having abilities disabled (so that repair bays would still work) seems to make sense to me.

I thought the starbases were already minimally effected by the Kostura Cannon?

They're barely affected at all. I meant more the tactical structures you place. I'm all for having the Kostura have its intended effect and disable everything, but for such a defensively minded faction it makes sense to me that they would have hardened emplacements or something that help to mitigate the duration of the Kostura effect.

Well the loyalists do get increases to armor and hp from Harden Defenses that only effect those structures, maybe that can also lower the disable effect.

Given that superweapons are about to be limited in number I don't think they need any more nerfs.

It's not a superweapon nerf, it's a faction specific buff that would mitigate but not entirely resist all ability/weapon/passive regen reducing abilities or effects. I just happened to be using the Kostura effects as an example.
