I don't see a double post, but I read your first one before you deleted it :p.

On my 22 inch screen the fonts look fine and are perfectly readable at a 1680x1050 resolution. Do you use any higher resolutions or a bigger screen? On my 42 inch TV the text is a tad blurred, too, but that's no wonder. It wasn't made for gaming afterall :) (I know most descriptions anyways so I don't mind).

Edit: aha, after coming back to the mainpage I know what you meant about doublepost :D.

I'm running a 23" 1920x1080p screen at that resolution without any issues.

I had to remove the .ttf files so the game pick up standard windows fonts instead. Now i can sit back and actually read whats on screen. Yeah, i'm using 1080p. I prefer not having my face right into the screen to be able to read.

Also again, UI scale option would work wonder with this game as many MMOs have these days.

At my resolution the fonts are the same size as the names on thses forums, I can read them perfectly fine while leaning back on my chair... Didn't think that going up one step on the resolution ladder would have that much impact.

The use of a nonstandard scifi font don't make it any better =) as proven by removing it.

I guess ... I haven't noticed any problems personally in the clarity of the text. Are you using a VGA (I think that's correct ... blue connector) connection? DVi or HDMI shouldn't cause a problem like this while VGA has been none to 'fuzz' text at larger resolutions.

Nope, using DVI, and the used font is not really made for easy reading. It's more a design to look cool.

Huh ... well, to each their own I guess. It works for me!

I'm glad you found a solution to your problem though! If anyone else posts on the forums with a similar issue we now have a thread to point them too.

I agree that the fonts are far too small to read at my native resolution (2560x1600).  The same goes for much of the UI.  I'm getting a little tired of some developers not accounting for higher resolution screens, honestly.  It was an oversight even at the release of the original Sins and it's especially glaring now.

I'll try deleting the font files.  Thanks for the tip.
