Error Could Not Access Network Location NO$key issue with Fallen Enchantress

HELP. ME. REINSTALL.

Well..title said it all.  Basically, I run F.E. on a windows 7 64 bit, played for about a week, no issues.  Then, Elemental decides that it must act true to its nature, and started crashing at every 5-6 turn on every new game(and saves that I have had no trouble with in the past as well) going directly to windows and stating "Error, F.E. has stopped suddenly, Windows is searching for a solution to the problem".   So, I decided to do the uninstall, reinstall switcheroo....Every attempt to uninstall breeds the "No$key" error, and every attempt at removing any trace of F.E. peice by peice to reinstall leads to an UNinstall, which, as you might of guessed, leads to another "No$key" error.

 

I just want to play the game.  Any ideas on what to do?

I am experienced the exact same issue, frequent crashes and no$key errors.  Only difference is that I use windows vista instead of windows 7, but still 64bit.

 

I too just want to play the game.

Check to nsee if your system clock is using the correct date.  If your date is way out whack, the game will think you are attempting to play when your license has expired and will give you a "No Key" error..

Try using a high quality uninstaller program. They sometimes can get around these errors. You might want to do some system maintenance as well. It could be your registry.
