[Beta] AI never completes sending Envoy when given mission to do so.

I'm trying to get all cozy with an AI and so far in over 5hrs of gameplay it has never ever sent an envoy to any of my planets when given a mission. Do they just not research it? It makes it impossible to get the diplomacy achievements when playing against (or with) AI.

 

The game was a 1v1v1v1 FFA (3x AI)

That's... odd. Usually when I ask an AI for an envoy he sends one to every one of my planets.

Of course, the AI in the Rebellion Beta is incredibly dumb right now,.

There is a problem with envoy in Rebellion... the Rebels ship ( light grey one ) who accumulate around all the gravity wells love to kill envoy ship... seem that they ignore the diplomatic immunity, maybe because these ship don't belong to any faction after all...

I was playing like a loyalist and for send a envoy cruiser to a other player that i was not at war, i was obligate to build a full edge escort because the rebels ship station at the destination gravity wells  was killing envoy...

I think this is related to the type of AI (offensive, researcher, etc.) the AI is, it seems some of the templates are bugged and won't send envoys, while at least one type does.

 

I had 3 friendly AIs in one game and only 1 sent envoys when I gave the mission. Though as they were set to random, I can't reconstruct this assumption for sure.

I have also noticed that certain AI types don't want to complete Envoy missions. Though most of the time the AI players do exactly what I ask of them. I have no clue what AI types don't listen and which types do, for I also play with random AI behavoirs only...
