Pretty Simple Person

I am a pretty simple person and don't try to harsh on any person's mellow very much. I don't try to break the game or be pretty meticulous about game mechanics because I just don't play that way. I'm liking the feel of beta 1 so far though I barely ever play with the TEC so it's helping e expand outside of my comfort zone a bit which is a bit fun.  

Is it too much to ask that we get a few new tracks to the soundtrack by the time it's all said and done? Or is there a way to break into the soundtrack folder and drop a few in of our own? Or give us a pointer in the settings folder that allows us to point to an external folder to play our own tracks?

We already have new tracks. In addition to a few new general cross-faction songs, each subfaction has 3 unique tracks of their own.

For example, in the game soundfiles (Steam -> Steamapps -> Common -> Sins -> Sound,) the track "Advent Loyalists - Fate of the Apostate" is the song we got a short clip of in the Rebellion teaser trailer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gS-VS5WS1B4).

I believe the devs have said that in total there's over an hour of new music.

Yeah, its pretty easy to replace the existing music with a mod. You can even use such a mod in multiplayer. Adding new music in addition to what is there is a little bit harder, but still fairly simple.

Great to know. I hadn't heard any in beta 1 and I was starting to disengage after about six hours of playing.  -_-  I'm definitely going to need something different this time around. Thanks for the advice and feedback so quickly.

The title soundtrack I know I heard but I don't think I heard any of the others. It seems like all of the rest of the music was the same. I'll play closer attention when I get back to playing again tomorrow since I have class tonight, thanks.
