2012 Concept Calendar (Codename: HexaKomb)

Would anybody like to see this in the Gallery? I'm debating at the moment.

Here at WinCustomize, our objective is to stand out from other people, whether it be skinning, icons, logons, etc.  Something I do every year that very few people in the world attempt to make, is their own custom calendar (without templates and from scratch).  I have been doing this since 2004.  And my 2012 design is surely to stand out from all other calendars out there.  Most calendars are square-based, right?  Not mine.  I've decided to innovate and improve upon the existing calendar and designed my own Hexagon based grid.  All the graphics (including the background itself) are made by me.  The design is heavily based on my own "Glassphire" line of WB skins.  I decided to make my own background to avoid copyright issues

I'm debating whether I should upload this into the graphics gallery.  It would include the Word Document with all the placeholder graphics.  A user may modify the calendar for their own personal use, but uploading a customized version of my calendar as your own would be strictly prohibited.

Go for it... novel ideas are welcome... you might offer it in various colors, though. Just a thought, VistArtXPosed.

Then I wouldn't upload to the Graphics Gallery. Anything uploaded to that gallery is free for all to use as they wish.

Yes, what Snowman said.  The Graphics Gallery is for royalty-free/free to use graphics.

dontcha just hate npr. unless stated otherwise the work would be copywrited, so I guess that is part of the upload agreement.

What i'm saying is that users would be allowed to modify the calendar, for PERSONAL USE.  And users can print it out if they wish.  Just don't claim a modified version of this calendar as your own work.  It would just be a modified template of my work.  (If you want to create your own calendar from scratch, [which looks nothing like mine] then go for it. [not to mention, no copyrighted material is permitted, <i.e., use wallpaper from the web as a background>])  It's not a competition.  It's just a way to help more users innovate and stand out from the crowd.  I would love to see some really outstandish calendars or other not-commonly modified elements.

So what gallery would I upload it under?  I don't think it belongs anywhere else.

There isn't one here.

The choices are either a specific skin gallery eg, Windowblinds where the copyright is inherent and usage terms can be optioned or the graphics gallery where the requirement is...it's for general unrestricted use.

And it's not a 'skin' so is not suited to anywhere other than 'graphics'.

I guess your "best" choice would be to upload it at DeviantART, and post link to it here.
