The main reason I stopped playing online was the ridicukously low speed the game was played.... Took us 10 hours once to play one game. The patched 3 months ago did help, but it was still a bit slow, still.
I'd like to know if it willl be fixed in rebellion (online games speed)
A new update was released a few days back. Try installing that one. It features a more powerfull back end system to improve online performances.
In some way, it will become possible for faster game with Rebellion, thank to Goafan77 plea for custom map transfer with online play...
There is custom map around who give you 3 or more planet for start... this along a quick start and research/income/etc rate that you can already configure, will make online game more fast...
Pretty sure that if Rebelion have these custom map transfer, it will not be long before a bunch of special map for online play pop-up on these forum...
Well, 10 hours for one game is very long, same in the actual state of the game... seem like two turtle player ( defense ) on a huge multistar random map... i think that actual online game range from 0.5 to 2 hours...
Yeah, games on ICO take much less time than 10 hours - typically they last from 30 minutes to a little over an hour.
