Extracting icons

I want to extract some of the icons from Sins, mainly buttons, so they can be put on the Sins wiki. The modding community is probably most familiar with this kind of thing. I know next to nothing about modding so this is probably a "FAQ" of some sort, is extracting button graphics possible? Thanks.

Most buttons are .tga format sheets and gimp (free) will open them and then you can cut out the button and paste it to a new sheet and save as a .png (good quality for web) or .jpg (fair quality) or .gif (crap quality but can animate with GIF editor)

Let me know what buttons you want an I or someone here will tell you what sheet they are on.

Also for quick reference, they are all in the textures folder of either the Sins route directory or that of the two expansions if those buttons are more recent additions.

Further, I advise that the Devs add custom map sharing to Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion.
