ai teammates doing nothing

Bug or feature. ^^

I´ve seen the AI more then once standing around and even do nothing while I attack from range.

Furthermore some maps are more a problem than other.

Do you use the enhanced AI mod? It´s work fine on cataract but has some problems with crucible, for example.

But it is an improvement compared to the basic AI.

it seems it only happens on 5 on 5. Had one game on the brothers map where the other four sat in between the flags for gold and catapults for about 20 minutes, only responding when attacked, but not pursuing. did not even try to capture the flags. trying the mods now, hopefully that will do it. thank you for yr prompt help.

tried the mods and it is still happening. i love this game, but that bug really kills the joy. does anybody know of any fix

Probably none as nobody play 5v5 games. In 3v3 (most usually played ones) it doesn't happen that often (I think). Or just play against people like others - they rarely do nothing

By the way, what difficulty did you set AI to? What other non default settings did you set? Did you kill enemies often? How often this does happen in your games - every match or not?

I wonder how this problem actually does happen... After demigod gets killed, it has huge priority conflicts so does nothing?

i play on normal, does not matter if i kill enemies often or not, happens on 4vv4 as well as 5v5, happens almost every skirmish, never tournament. i do not really want to play online, kind of suck and do not want grief for not being good at a game, not really worth it. i cannot believe the developers have not fixed this, this is outrageous.

I´ve spotted this once, where the TB of my team just stood around at the health crystal and did nothing for approximatly 5 min. But that never happend again (and it was without the enhanced AI mod I think) that badly. But still, they make a pause from time to time, for sure, (Maybe thinking about the situation ^^) on every difficulty level.

At which warrank you start? I´ve played some games starting at 10 and the AI cannot make the right judgement of that circumstance.

Also try enfo´s mod, it´s really a nice single player mod, I think.

i always start at war rank 1. i have had some registry error problems, could that somehow be effecting something with the game. i am assuming that if no one else has this problem to the the extent that i do then the difficulty must lie with my computer
