So, i was on today and saw a total of 8 ppl online, and yesterday a total of 12 ppl, so when is it that most ppl are online?

A 5v5 just started and a 4v4 is currently in waiting now. It builds to about 50 or so towards later afternoon early evening central time and then slow drops off around midnight most days.

It should be noted that the busiest place is in diplomacy and not vanilla or entrenchment.

Arch, did you get the Diplomacy expansion?  That's where the action is.  It seems like the best times are around 4-5 pm U.S. Eastern Time now, during the European evening.  Also, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are the best.

Not exactly news.  It is news when you all AREN'T smurfing.  There are a few of us BIA left arch.  Mostly its me, itchynail, mindseye, and higgy.   Occasionally knewgui will pop on.
