Windows Taskbar

Is It Possible?

In previous versions of windows you could create a second taskbar and move it to the top or side ?  I have been unable to do this in windows 7 if anyone knows if this possible please tell me how it works in windows 7.

Below is what I am looking to do. If this is no longer possible in windows 7 maybe one of the fantastic DX Programmers could recreate something like this.

You could try this radical app called Object Dock....  ;)   Maybe pm RnD with the idea?

No way to create a second taskbar in W7 that I know of, WM2.

When I want a second taskbar I use Informer. It is highly customizable and you can place a lot of things on it. It just takes a little time to set up right but its not complicated to do so.

By the way just for curiosity sake what is not functional with Obectbar if you use it with Windows 7? Check out this shot where I used it with Windows 7.

I already use object dock Dr I have a dock on every edge of the screen already was hoping to just find a suitable tool bar that I could drag and drop shortcuts onto

I can drag and drop desktop shortcuts to my two dock one of which is a tabbed dock. My OS is W7 64 bit, I still use version 1.9 of object dock

I can hook you up with something, dude. But it would just be a drag and drop bar, can be autohidden off screen, but it won't automatically match the blind taskbar that you use it with.

I can, however, add instructions on how to make it match with a little work on your part.

Copying the taskbar image out of the current blind, and replacing the bar background with it could be done on a blind by blind basis.

Maybe, if I ask, sviz might be able to come up with a script that would allow you to drag and drop a graphic onto it and have it take on the characteristics of said graphic.
