A dedicated forum for Sins 2 (if it's released)

Been pondering this idea for sometime, but wanted the Sins fans' feedback.


Assuming Sins 2 eventually gets released, I was wondering if people would be interested in a third party forum for the modding community?

I've just sold my first forum that I ran for 8+ years, so I have a fair bit of experience with all things hosting and forum related. (Hence i'm looking for a new project to start heh)

There's many benefits associated with using a third party forum, for one, each large mod could have it's own forum, so feedback isn't bunched into one thread.

Mods can also be uploaded to the forum itself, thus, people won't have to go to download sites, full of ads and slow speeds to boot.

The forum would also run much faster and have many more features etc.

So, any thoughts?

The Ironclad devs have only *hinted* at working on something new for Sins. They've made no mention of any possibility of a sequel for Sins at all, let alone the near future.

So overall, I think that this is a well-intentioned, but uninformed and unhelpful post.

Try doing it for Sins 1, this is a very bad forum.

  • Wincustomize Sucks for mods
  • no forum rules or moderation what so ever
  • eats posts
  • sticky posts have not bin updated since the beta
  • forum search sucks

If you could make of few regulars into moderators would be great. Like most forums I hate and ignore posts that start with HELP PLEASE or Look here. I dont blame anyone for posting the same question over and over because the search and stickys SUK  :thumbsdown:
