Frustrating

I think the Impulse program is rather frustrating an an ineffective means of advertising,

I am constantly forced to update impulse and it wants me to reset my computer, so I get frustrated and say I will do it on next boot or something so I do and frequently I start it up after I reboot a few days later and it wants to update again and reset, so after a week or so I finally do its jazz and go into whatever game I wanted to play through it. but seriously I've had to update it dozens of time since I put the program on my computer during elemental beta 1, over and over reset reset, its annoying and I never leave it on because its constantly telling me to reset,

I thought I would share this because it frustrates me and limits your potential ability to advertise to people because I'm sure I am not the only one who hates to reset.

I think its updated once or twice since Elemental has been released for me.

I loaded Impulse because of buying EWOM, that's was on the 26th of Aug. I've never been asked to update that I can remember.

generally it seems to be updating content. you can turn it off and only do a manual update when there is a reason for you to visit the site.

open impulse and click on the blue drop down menu over on the top left. you'll get this screen;

check this box and you will be asked if you wish to update impulse when you open the program, just click NO if you choose not to.
